Reading these 3 poems flooded me with an urge to revisit Sundry Abductions— to recapture the myriad diverse emotions it evokes. An unforgettable, wondrous experience!!

The last one brought tears to my eyes; it was Holocaust sad, very moving. The first was very surreal; I loved the image of the double yolk in an egg. I love finding twinnies in eggs. As for sundry abductions, it's awful that famous families have to deal with that fear or event in the glare of fame. Would love to see more of Maria's poetry. These quiet people are observing, learning, feeling, letting out very little to the rest of us, but when they share, it can be profound. We should never assume that nothing is going on there in the silences. Nor can we know everything by profession.
