I think I will read this at my family's seder tonight. My family has grown and evolved so that my daughter Liz and her husband Aaron have begun the tradition of the first seder in their home, a meaningful passing of the torch to the next generation and ones yet to come. Chag pesach sameach, Peter.

Your seder musings are brilliant and full of focus, memory, and vision. While growing up in a different philosophical surrounding.....I can see, in my eyes, the obvious symmetry.....Thanks for sharing and letting me have a glimpse of this shared vision! Great Health and Peace to Your Family, Peter.

I love this: "the miracles, the ones which took place so many eons ago, never ceased. I believe that the story we tell doesn’t belong to the past. Especially now it seems, it belongs to a vital and miracle-filled present." Our existence is indeed an ongoing miracle of miracles. Interesting that you cite jealousy among the other mean-spirited antisemitic traits. I think it's because education has always been a religious duty in Judaism and that enabled Jews to be very accomplished and to serve as leading lights for the rest of us. Many times, I was oft mistaken by others as Jewish. I always considered that a very high compliment and let me tell you when I discovered through DNA testing Jews far back in my ancestry on both sides, I was PROUD! I wish I could learn who those missing Jews were and how they got mixed up with all the Catholics in my family. Was it forced conversion or the accidents of love? Or something else? I may never know, but I am at least glad that I carry their traces within my own DNA. I wish you and your family Gut Pesach.

Beautiful prose here Peter! Thank you!

Don’t be so sure those infinite worlds are out of reach … maybe we simply need to be humble enough to believe! 💫

I’ve always believed our Creator will bestow upon us the miracles needed, during this Passover and there after.

To me, liberation and freedom erase division. The privilege of my freedom, which in itself a miracle, allows my heart and soul to unfold and intertwine to the oneness of humanity without fear and hatred. May our faith in God bring us closer to one another. 🌟

Happy Passover!✌🏼
