Your friend said that he could not comprehend of something not being knowable, eventually. but even in something so mundane as physics the Heisenberg uncertainty principle states that one can not know either the velocity or the place of a sub atomic particle. That's not a proof of anything just that there are things unknowable. Physical things. We don't know so much

I appreciate your essay very much. I do think there are some things that are unknowable, but it is quite human to want to know.
One can have a strong personal belief in God,as I do; however do not or like organized religion. Going into a building just to be with hypocritical people is not for me. It’s the small minority of those people who are good people, the rest of them…hypocrites. Besides there are only 12 tribes of Israel going to heaven…isn’t that what the Bible says. So just be kind to All people and you will be rewarded by not going to hell. Only the evil people in history are in hell. Orange menace and Putin will be hoping them.
G-d may be unique in this infinity but because G-d IS everything and every being in this Universe, there can be no aloneness or isolation for G-d. At least that is how I view it. That vastness of being is indeed beyond human ken. Isn't there something in the Bible about Lucifer rebelling against G-d's rule and G-d casting Lucifer down into Hell? Or is that just part of the New Testament? BTW, for me G-d is nonbinary. If humans are indeed made in the image of G-d, that has to include all 8 sexes cited in the Talmud--and much more because of all the other forms of life in our vast Universe.
BTWW, I wrote a Substack about Antisemitism earlier this week. THAT's one of the many evils that is positively Satanic.
Also, another view is that Earth is a testing/proving ground for human souls to be perfected. Hence, we must rise above the temptations that human existence involves. We must level our karma.

The world--not just the Jewish world--needs a Rabbi Himmelman. Go and learn, my friend.

I used to judge the people in a ‘building’ the way you do. Then I realized something. I am an introvert, and most people are not.

P.P.S. Love your art.
