Dear World, Are you mad? Seriously, have you gone mad—again? I believe so. I believe you have. You’ve fallen for the oldest, most desperate trick in the book: the denigration of the Jews. “I don’t hate the Jews,” you say. “It’s just the genocidal state of Israel, the Jewish apartheid state that I wish to destroy.” I see. I see. But I don’t believe you. Not a word of it. May I ask what it is about Jews who don’t want to die that makes you so upset? What is it about Jews who don’t want their daughters raped, their children blown up on city buses, or murdered in their beds, or as they dance at music festivals, that bothers you so much? Is it our success? Is it our implausible creativity? Or is it our confoundingly small numbers, so incommensurate with our resources, that engender so much fear in you? Perhaps it’s intellectual laziness that causes you to shrink back, as you do in every generation, to the cruelties and inanities of the past, to a time when you felt the need to burn away the contempt you feel for yourself by hating us. How has this worked for you? How has seeing your scapegoat, your nemesis, triumph again and again worked for you? My suggestion: find a more worthy cause. Find something to build, as we do, rather than something to destroy.

You’ve got it wrong, Peter. You’re also an intellectual coward for blocking my comments on Facebook. My argument is sound, yours is not.
The “trick in the book” is actually your straw man/red herring meme: “the denigration of the Jews.”
For many of us, our outrage truly isn’t about the Jews. It’s the state of Israel and the rabid r-cists who support cleansing Palestinians.
Maybe if you could SEE this you could also see the falsity of your narrative and thereby BELIEVE us. You can’t believe us because you choose to ignore the ugly reality of Izrael and the US. It’s akin to ignoring and not believing r&pe victims.
The Israeli government and the United States pro Zionist media promote *faux antisemitism* thereby weakening the meaning and power of *real* antisemitism, thus endangering Jews by throwing us under the bus as a shield for atrocity.
The meme you refer to that depicts antisemitism as a shield for g-cide is accurate because antisemitism IS being used as pretext. Ironically, you too endanger Jews by ignoring the weaponization of antisemitism.
