Indisputable Sky

A few lines to describe a feeling beyond description

This morning I look out my window and

I am sure that the sky I see

is not the same one millions of others are seeing.

I see things I have mistakenly assumed

everyone expects to see when looking up at the sky.

Slow-moving clouds  

the sun rising past the tops of bare trees

swaths of pale blue, patches of milky grey
